HODITH: Privacy Policy

Who we are

HODITH is developed by SecondMonday Studios, based in British Columbia, Canada. You can reach us at hello@secondmondaystudios.com.

What data the app handles

HODITH stores the information you choose to enter while using the app: your Cases, the events you log against them, Hunches, Triggers, notes, and tags. This data:

• is stored only in the app's local storage on your device;
• is never transmitted to us or to any third party — the app does not request the network permission at all;
• is not linked to your identity; the app has no accounts, sign-in, or user profiles.

What the app does not do

• No collection of personal information (name, email, contacts, location, identifiers).
• No analytics or tracking SDKs.
• No advertising and no advertising networks.
• No selling or sharing of data with third parties; we never receive it in the first place.

Sharing a Case

HODITH lets you generate a shareable image summarizing a Case (icon, name, hunch vs. reality, and stats you choose to include). This image is rendered entirely on your device and only leaves it if and when you actively choose to share it through Android's own share sheet. Notes and tags are never included on share cards. We never receive a copy.

Export, backups, and restore

HODITH lets you export your data to a file so you can back it up or move it to another device. Export files are created on your device and saved where you choose; what you do with them, and any cloud service you store them in, is under your control and governed by that service's own policy.

If you use Android's device backup features, your device may also include HODITH's data in backups managed by Google under your own Google account. Those backups are governed by Google's privacy policy and are under your control, not ours.

Data retention and deletion

Your data exists only on your device, so you are in full control of it. To delete everything, use the "Delete all data" option in the app's Settings, clear the app's storage in your device settings (Settings → Apps → HODITH → Storage → Clear data), or uninstall the app. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing for us to delete on our side and no way for us to recover data you remove, including export files you have made yourself.

Children

HODITH is a general-audience app and is not directed at children. It collects no data from any user, including children.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of HODITH changes how data is handled (for example, by adding optional features that require network access), we will update this policy before that version is released and note the new effective date above.
